Sailors, Seafood & Lifesaving
Our one-of-a-kind program addresses the New Jersey state Core Curriculum Standards in a comprehensive, hands-on way.  Includes in service training for teachers, all curriculum and kit materials, and field trip to both historic Absecon Lighthouse and Atlantic City Aquarium.  Students $9.50, Adults $11 (one free adult for every 10 students).  Optional excursions can include a one-hour cruise aboard Atlantic City Cruises.

“Keeper Sleeper” Overnight Program
Ever wonder what it was like to be a Lighthouse Keeper 150 years ago?  Join us for an overnight adventure and find out!  This program includes video presentations, lighthouse history, night climbs, kids build their own lighthouses, snack, breakfast, compass and orienteering skills, ghost stories (optional), and gift shopping.  The program is $45 per person, and ideal for Girl & Boy Scouts, and youth groups ages 6-12.

Wacky Wednesdays
Make summertime memories with our newest program offered at Absecon Lighthouse!!!  Running on Wednesdays through July and August, these fun-filled days include a climb of the lighthouse tower, snacks, games, stories and crafts to accompany that week’s theme – Pirates, Mermaids, Victorian Life, Sea Life and Sailors.  Decorate a mermaid crown & necklace, create a sturdy ship to sail the sea, bring your favorite doll to a Victorian tea party, meet some creatures of the deep or sing shanties to keep your pirate crew working hard!!!  Even though school’s out, there’s never been a better time to learn something new at Absecon Lighthouse!

Full Moon Climbs
For the first time this summer, the Absecon Lighthouse will offer nighttime climbs of New Jersey’s tallest lighthouse to correspond with the calendar’s full moons.  See Atlantic City like you have never seen it before.  Regular admission rates apply.
                MONDAY JULY 26 – Last climb at 9:00 pm
                TUESDAY AUGUST 24 – Last climb at 8:00 pm

Group Tours
Group tours include a guided tour of the grounds, museum and a climb to the top of the tower.  The rate for 10 or more is Adults $5, and children 4-12 are $3.50.
