Ever wonder what it was like to be a Lighthouse Keeper 150 years ago? Join us for an overnight adventure and find out! Our Keeper Sleeper program is the PERFECT activity for Cub and Girl Scout Troops! This overnight adventure explores maritime history and the dangerous lives of lighthouse keepers in the 1800's.
The program includes the following activities:

What is a lighthouse? How do they work? Why are lighthouses so brightly colored? What did the lighthouse keeper do?

TO ENHANCE YOUR EXPERIENCE, COORDINATE A TRIP TO THE ABSECON LIGHTHOUSE WITH A TRIP TO THE ATLANTIC CITY AQUARIUM FOR AN ADDITONAL $4.50 per STUDENT AND $7.50 per ADDITIONAL CHAPERONE.
Tours for groups of 10 or more people include a guided tour of the grounds, museum, lighthouse and Atlantic City history and a climb to the top of the tower.
